From recycled ocean plastic. The ECO series by micro.
Approximately 10 percent of the plastic waste in the oceans comes from fishing. Each year, an estimated 640,000 tons of nets and other equipment are left in the seas. A portion of this waste, which is collected in landfills and then recycled, is used to create our sustainable micro Kids Kickboard.
The deck of the maxi/micro deluxe ECO is made from recycled fishing nets, ropes, and other plastic waste from the maritime industry. The patented steering system through weight shifting promotes balance and motor skills, the handlebar can be optimally adjusted to the size of the child, and the non-slip silicone deck ensures grip and safety on the kickboard.

We are aware of our responsibility and want to pave the way for innovative product development with environmentally responsible initiatives.
Our sustainable Kids Kickboards are made from recycled plastic. To this end, used and discarded fishing nets, ropes, crates, and other plastic waste that would otherwise have ended up in the sea are transformed into high-quality plastic raw material, known as ‘Green Plastic’, through mechanical recycling. This is then used for the deck and brake of the micro ECO Scooter.
The use of Green Plastic not only reduces landfilling, ocean pollution, and the loss of valuable resources but also reduces the ecological footprint.
1 COLLECTION. Used fishing gear such as nets or ropes, which would otherwise have ended up in the sea, are collected from the North Sea.
2 PROCESSING. The collected waste is processed into recycled plastic raw material, also known as granules.
3 MANUFACTURING. The recycled plastic is used for the mini and maxi micro deluxe ECO deck, as well as for the brake on the mini deluxe model.
